Emma writes:

GET YOUR LIPS ROUND THIS! - how often on a Saturday night in the back seat of a Commodore have I heard these words? Normally I would expect dinner and a movie before that line is romantically uttered but not this year at Transformal - this time YOU are the star!

This is your chance ladies to show off outrageously in a forum specifically designed for all of us with limited or self perceived talent :) Judging by the private messages I have had on the interweb there is more excitement around this event than a Malcolm Fraser led Cabinet meeting from the 1970's so get yourselves organised girls and I will see you there on the night shakin' your booty and other such hipster terms.

Courageously, Adrian has allowed me to host this galah spectacle so as long as the acts are not as drunk as the host of this event usually is I can promise one and all it will be the hit of the weekend!

Game

Our very own Emma Thorne presents a unique  "No Talent" quest .

Guests are invited to join in the 1950's theme by "singing" along with some of the classic songs of the era.

No voice or singing talent is required, and you will be able to read the lyrics on our 'tranny prompter'.

Our panel of any-talent spotter judges will have the impossible challenge of determining who best gets their lips round the lyrics.

Practicing before hand is optional, and may have little correlation to the final result.

But if you want to 'warm up' there will be three elimination rounds.

ROUND 1: Millie Small's My Boy Lollipop

My boy lollipop
You make my heart go giddy up
You are as sweet as candy - You're my sugar dandy
Ho, ho, my boy lollipop
Never ever leave me -  Because it would grieve me
My heart told me so

I love ya, I love ya, I love ya so - But I wanted you to know
I need ya, I need ya, I need ya so - And I'll never let you go

My boy lollipop
You make my heart go giddy up
You set my world on fire - You are my one desire
My boy lollipop

I love ya, I love ya, I love ya so - But I wanted you to know
I need ya, I need ya, I need ya so - And I'll never let you go

My boy lollipop
You make my heart go giddy up
You set my world on fire
You are my one desire
Oh, my boy lollipop - Oh, my boy lollipop - My boy lollipop

Round 2  Connie Francis's Lipstick On Your Collar

When you left me all alone at the record hop
Told me you were going out for a soda pop
You were gone for quite a while, half an hour or more
You came back and man oh man this is what I saw

Lipstick on you collar told a tale on you
Lipstick on you collar said you were untrue
Bet your bottom dollar you and I are through
'Cause lipstick on you collar told a tale on you, yeah

You said it belonged to me, made me stop and think
Then I noticed yours was red, mine was baby pink
Who walked in but Mary Jane, lipstick all a mess
Were you smoochin' my best friend, if the answer's yes

Lipstick on you collar told a tale on you
Lipstick on you collar said you were untrue
Bet your bottom dollar you and I are through
'Cause lipstick on you collar told a tale on you, boy

Told a tale on you, man
Told a tale on you, yeah
Told a tale on you

Round 3 (Finals)  Peggy Lee's Fever

Never know how much I love you
Never know how much I care
When you put your arms around me
I get a fever that's so hard to bear

You give me fever
when you kiss me - Fever when you hold me tight
Fever -  in the mornin' - A fever all through the night

Sun lights up the day time
Moon lights up the night
I light up when you call my name
And you know I'm gonna treat you right

You give me fever
when you kiss me - fever when you hold me tight
Fever - in the mornin' - A fever all through the night

Everybody's got the fever
That is somethin' you all know
Fever isn't such a new thing
Fever started long long ago

Romeo loved Juliet
Juliet she felt the same
When he put his arms around her
He said, "Julie baby you're my flame"
Thou giveth fever,
when we kisseth - Fever with thy flaming youth
Fever - I'm on fire - Fever yea I burn forsooth

Captain Smith and Pocahontas
Had a very mad affair
When her daddy tried to kill him
She said "daddy oh don't you dare"
He gives me fever,
with his kisses - Fever when he holds me tight
Fever - I'm his misses - Daddy won't you treat him right?

Now you've listened to my story
Here's the point that I have made
Chicks were born to give you fever
Be it Fahrenheit or centigrade
They give you fever
when you kiss them - Fever if you live and learn
Fever - till you sizzle - What a lovely way to burn
What a lovely way to burn..What a lovely way to burn..
